Q. What are your regular business hours?
My regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, but I can typically accommodate you with flexible scheduling options
Q. Do you offer services outside of your normal business hours including on weekends and holidays? If so, are there additional fees associated with work done outside of your normal business hours?
I do offer services outside of our normal business hours. I charge an additional $25 service fee and an additional $25 for each hour on site.
Q. What services do you offer?
I provide smart home installation in San Antonio, technical support services, and general handyman services.
Smart Home Installation
Q. Do you help set up Alexa or Google Home?
Yes, I specialize in smart home device installation and configuration, including Alexa (Echo), Google Home, Apple Home, Samsung Smart Things, and Home Assistant. I’ll set up your hub, connect your devices, work with you to establish useful automation routines, and teach you how to use your smart home technology.
Q. Do you install Ring doorbells and security cameras?
I will install and set up your Ring doorbell then teach you how to use the app so that you can see who’s at the door. I’ll work with you to identify the most important areas of your home to set up security cameras to keep you and your home safe and secure.
Q. Do you install smart lights, smart switches, and smart outlets?
Absolutely. I’ll work with you to find out your lighting needs and help determine the ideal smart lighting installation. For single bulb light fixtures and lamps, I recommend smart lightbulbs as a quick and easy solution. It’s also a great and economical way to get introduced to the benefits of smart home technologies. For multiple light fixtures and ceiling can lighting, I recommend the most economical solution of replacing your standard wall light switch with a smart switch that can control multiple traditional bulbs.
Q. What smart devices can you install?
I can install smart hubs, speakers, wall-mounted consoles (e.g., Amazon Echo Show 15” or 21”), smart TVs, smart lights, switches, outlets, doorbells, security cameras, thermostats, and appliances.
Technology Installation and Troubleshooting
Q. Do you help with WiFi setup and dead zones?
I can come to your home or office and map and troubleshoot your existing Wi-Fi network. For dead zones I can install a newer, more powerful Wi-Fi router, Wi-Fi extender, or mesh network. These technologies all you eliminate “dead zones” in your home and can even allow you to have strong Wi-Fi signals that extend into your backyard.
Q. My printer stopped working, can you help fix it?
Yes, I can update and reinstall printer drivers, install wired and wireless printers, install ink cartridges, remove paper jams, and perform minor repairs and maintenance on your printer. I can also work with you to identify, purchase, and install a new printer if you want.
Q. Do you help seniors with computers, smart phones, printers, and other technologies. Do you provide computer lessons for seniors?
Absolutely! I love working with older adults and teaching them how to use technology. As a former adjunct professor at UTSA and Trinity and a current instructor of meditation at the San Antonio Zen Center, I am a patient and compassionate educator who understands the struggles of technology. Let me solve your technology problems and teach you to use your computer, smart phone, and smart home technologies.
Q. Do you help seniors with iPhones and iPads?
Yes, I can help you configure your phone or tablet and install important apps. I can also set up your devices to make it easier to use (larger fonts, magnification, closed captioning). Once I’ve set it up, I’ll sit down with you and teach you how to use it.
Q. Do you help with Zoom and video calls?
Yes, I can help set up your smart phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer so that you can use Zoom to chat with your family and friends. I will set up your desktop, add shortcuts, and teach you how to make and receive video calls directly from your device. I’ll even leave you with a handy 1-page printed manual that you can keep to make it easy next time you need to make a call.
Q. Do you provide one-on-one tech help?
Yes, I make house calls. I’ll come to your home and talk with you to understand your technology problems. I’ll usually be able to solve your problem onsite within an hour and if I can’t I will give you a time and cost estimate for the work. For more challenging problems it may take 2-3 hours or require a return visit. I’ll work with you to accommodate your schedule.
Q. How can I make my computer safe?
I can help protect your computer from viruses and malware. First, I’ll scan your system to identify viruses, scams, and malware (e.g., annoying popup advertisements, spam email), I’ll back your system up and remove the malware. I adjust system virus protection software and adjust browser and email settings to help reduce infections. Finally, I’ll work with you one-on-one and help teach you simple steps (e.g., virus avoidance, password management) you can follow to keep your computer senior-safe.
Q. What is 2FA? Can you help me with it?
2FA is an abbreviation for “two-factor authentication” - it is used by websites and apps (e.g., banking apps) to help protect your account by having you use 2 different ways to identify yourself. Typically this is a username/password and a one-time PIN number that is texted to your phone. Other authentications include finger print scan, face recognition, or a direct phone call. I can help you set up and use 2FA to secure your accounts.
Home Improvement Services
Q. Do you provide TV mounting service in San Antonio?
I will install a mounting bracket on your wall (drywall, wood, brick) and install your flat screen TV on the wall optimized for viewing.
Q. Do you hide wires in the wall?
For an additional charge, I can also do in-wall hiding of power and accessory cables providing your room with a sleek, sophisticated look.
Q. Can you install a new light switch?
I can swap out and replace existing switches. I can replace your traditional switch with a sophisticated “Decora Rocker” switch. I can add a light dimmer switch for your living room. I can add a timer switch for your bathroom fan. I can add a motion detection switch for your closet or hallway to make your home safer and more secure.
Q. Do you do appliance installation?
I can do replacement installations of washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and garbage disposals. I’ll disconnect and remove your old appliance and install your replacement.
Q. Do you provide furniture assembly?
Yes, I can assemble furniture, chairs, tables, bookcases, chaise lounges, etc.
What is your cancellation policy?
Home Office Angel policy allows you to cancel any appointment for free up to 24 hours before a visit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of a visit will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.
What is your no-show policy for missed appointments?
No shows and missed appointments will be charged a $75 missed appointment fee.
Do you hold any specialty or general contractors licenses?
All tasks offered and performed are within the scope of our Home Improvement Contractor License (Register # HIC-25-00603, City of San Antonio). Work requiring specialized licensing (e.g., major electrical) may be referred to appropriately licensed subcontractors if needed.
Do you carry general liability insurance?
I carry a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy as well as Professional liability insurance.
How do you structure billing?
Most jobs are billed on a per-project basis with a set fee for standard work. Payment is due upon completion of work before our technician leaves the property.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Accepted Methods: Check, PayPal, CashApp, and cash.
Can I provide my own materials?
Yes you can provide your own materials.
What if I am dissatisfied?
If you are dissatisfied with the work performed, please contact me, Brandon Loudermilk (Owner), directly to discuss remediation options on a case-by-case basis.
What should we do to prepare for you?
Please ensure the work area is clear of personal items before our arrival.

What is your service area?
My service area encompasses San Antonio city limits extending in the northwest to include Helotes, Boerne, and Leon Springs
Do you charge mileage or extra for jobs outside of the service area?
I charge an additional $1 per mile for jobs outside our service area.
Do you provide receipts for my records?
I do provide receipts for your records.
Do you work with assisted living residents?
Absolutely - I love working with older adults. No matter where you live or what your circumstances, I’ll work with you to help solve your technology and home improvement challenges.
Do you work for home owners, property managers, realtors, insurance companies, etc…
I am open to working with all clients.

Do you charge for troubleshooting and diagnosis if you can’t diagnose or fix the problem?
I do not charge for troubleshooting if I do not diagnose the issue, however I do charge for troubleshooting if I diagnose a problem that you choose to not have me repair.
Do you schedule with arrival windows or specific arrival times?
All of my jobs are scheduled with a 1 hour arrival window.
Can I request a detailed breakdown of labor vs. materials costs?
My labor and materials costs are broken down on invoices in an industry standard format. I do not break them down further without having agreed to something specific in advance.
Can you work with my existing smart home technology?
Absolutely! I will use your existing smart home technologies. Be aware that existing older technologies may be limited in features and integration capabilities.
